 Fish are plentiful and there are lovely bike rides and paths to see the beauty of Paynesville and nearby Newlands Arm. The area is predominatly flat, so bike riding is pleasant.

 

Paynesville has two Lawn Bowls Clubs, a Golf Club, Yacht Club, Cuiser Club and many activities.

 

Nearby Raymond Island is serviced by a 20 car ferry (free to pedestrians and bikes) and has large Koala and kangaroo poulations to see and photograph along with both made and dirt roads to explore and find picturesque views of Paynesville and the Lakes area.
